Become a literacy volunteer!

Our trained tutors work 1-2 hours per week, days or evenings, at any of our conveniently located libraries throughout the county to teach other Rockland County adults to read, write, and/or speak English.

Monday and Wednesdays evenings
from 5:30 PM- 8:45 PM

Session 1: August 15 at Nanuet Library

Session 2: August 17 at Nanuet Library

Session 3: August 22 at Nanuet Library

Session 4: August 24 at New City Library

Session 5: August 29 at New City Library

& Session 6: August 31 at New City Library

(Trainees are expected to attend ALL sessions)

 

NOTE: After the training, you can tutor at the library or center of your choice.
